I have a bad astigmatism and these Cyelee dots are the only ones that actually look like a crispy dot to me. This Chameleon Flex has a large window and is mounted on my competition setup Canik Rival. Has been working great for me. Very high quality fit & finish and the control buttons feel very premium. 10/10 experience so far! I show & recommend it everyone at my local USPSA & Steel Challenge matches.

I was lucky enough to receive my pre-order of the new Chameleon FLEX red Dot optic from Cyelee the other day. Upon opening the box I found the optic to be of outstanding quality with a very sleek, impressive design. The battery was already installed and the reticle fired right up as soon as I pressed the + button. To change between the 2 and 6 MOA settings you only have to hold down the + button for about 3 to 4 seconds and it change. To change back, press the + button again for 3 to 4 seconds and it will toggle to the other setting. For those of you not used to a switchable reticle, the change is very subtle and it is easier to see the difference between the two sizes if you have the brightness level low. To my old eyes, the 2 MOA looked like a razor sharp tiny star in the sky and the 6 MOA looked like a sharp small round circle, both of which grew a bit bigger as you increased the brightness level. I timed the automatic turn off time and got an average reading of about 3 min & 40 seconds. The slightest touch instantly brought the optic back to life.

Mounting it to my new Glock-19 Gen-6 was a breeze as it was a perfect fit to Glock’s new optic mounting system using their #2 RMR mounting plate that came with the gun.

Yesterday I took it to the range and zeroed it in at the 10 yard distance that I use for all of myself defense handguns. This optic has a nice big window that gives you a large field of view for shooters that only use one eye and it makes it easier to acquire the dot when raising your pistol to shoot. I used a tripod and the 2 MOA to try to get the most accurate zero that I could. It only took me about a half dozen rounds to get as perfect a zero as my 73 year old arthritic hands could give me. After that I put the tripod aside and did some of the best shooting from both the 7 and 10 yard self defense distances that I have ever done. By the end of my session I had fired about 200 rounds and the optic held its zero perfectly and was still locked solid to the slide of the gun.

I have Cyelee optics on all of my weapons because of the great customer service that I received from them a couple years ago when I bought my first one from them. All of my optics from them still work as great as the day I first got them and I have to say that this Chameleon FLEX red Dot is my favorite one of all.

If you’re looking for a great optic that won’t break the bank, this is definitely worth buying.

Like the title says clearest dot i own, the stig-rs tech makes it a great addition on my mac 9ds which had a holosun 507comp but the crispness of the 2moa dot speaks for itself

I purchased two chameleon flex dot optics the day they were released. I put them on who Glock gen 6 45 and a Glock GEN 617. Once I figured out the correct screws, the rest of the installation went pretty easy. I also have four other side optics and they have become my new go to optic. These two are the sixth I’ve purchased and they were great nice bright dot I love the astigmatism enhancement and it really does work. In my opinion, I think they’re among the best values in red dot optics available. I have two Holoson red dots and I’m much prefer the size they even have EDG on my shotgun? Good customer service and fast shipping.

I had the opportunity to shoot with both the SRS8 and the Flex today at the range.

The SRS8 was mounted on my Steel Challenge PCC, and the Flex was on my Steel Challenge Ruger Mark IV. (Previously, the SRS8 was on the Mark IV.)

At first glance, both optics performed well—as expected from Cyelee.

For the type of shooting I do (fast transitions and plate racks), I prefer the bigger 8 MOA dot on the SRS8. Once it lands on the plate during a transition, I pull the trigger and hit—no hesitation.

That said, the Flex's ability to switch between a 2 MOA and 6 MOA dot is a fantastic feature. Using the 2 MOA for precise zeroing is excellent—it gives a much tighter, more accurate point of aim—then swapping to the 6 MOA for quick target acquisition works perfectly for dynamic stages.

As for the dot quality, I have astigmatism, and both held up great: no blooming or starbursting, even at the brightest settings.

Both have their place depending on your needs. Personally, I lean toward the 8 MOA for my style of shooting, but that's just preference. I'd happily recommend either to friends or family—solid performers at a great value.
